Default Oil doesn’t get dirty

i haven’t changed my oil in , I don’t know how long, and have been waiting for the oil to get dark and dirty but that hasn’t happened in over 10K miles with semi synthetic oil. Should I wait or change it anyways?

Read your owner's manual. It specifies xxxx miles or yy months whichever comes first.
Color doesn't tell you anything....

When I had my synthetic oil to 10k miles, I checked the dipstick and it still looked new. When I changed my oil, it was all black. Trust me, your dipstick oil color can be misleading.

Always satisfy the recommended intervals for all the maintenance items, not just engine oil.
