Default Strange sound from engine compartment

Could a worn out bearing of alternator or AC compressor or power steering pump cause that strange
sound ? If so, which one is most likely to wear out first ?

It is most likely the drive belt that is worn out. I had the same strange noise so I took it in to the dealership for a diagnosis and they came back with a worn belt.

Well without an audio clip, I don't think anyone can tell you what the noise might possible be. It's a guessing game at this point, since we don't even know what vehicle you drive.

Is the sound proportional to engine speed? Or the wheel speed?
If the sound is proportional to only the engine speed, then have someone rev the engine while you use a stethoscope on the engine compartment.
