Question Auto transport referrals

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question . . . If not, could someone kindly move it for me? Thanks.

I need some referrals for auto transporters in the continental U.S. I don't have much information on what reasonable prices are or what those prices should cover. I'd rather pay a little more for a reputable, worry-free company w/ guarantees than try to save with a crappy company.

What about open vs. enclosed transport? As far as I can tell, enclosed transport is nearly 2x as much as open, so what are the benefits, other than your car is not exposed to the elements during transit?

Any info, advice and referrals are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

or, call your local auto dealers and ask for managers' referrals..they ship cars all the time..usually for cross USA, you are looking at ~$900-1500, depends on if the cars are covered on the freight truck
