Default Jacks

What kind of jacks do you guys have to do maintenance on your cars? My local costco has an Arcan 3-ton floor jack for $70 or a Powelift 3000lb aluminum racing jack for $270. I realize my GS is more than 3000lb but when jacking a car, you are not supporting the full weight, right?

My local Kragen's also has the powerbuilt counterparts of these jacks for $60 and $180, respectively. Any difference in quality?

Not sure if many will have info on this but I just thought I'd try to pick CL member's brains.

Thanks.

I have a couple of Northern Tool Floor Jacks that I've used. They were on sale, with a couple of jack stands, for like $20, so I grabbed 2!

craftsman (Sears)...if it breaks, I get free replacement. Had to do this cause one wheels went bad.

I also have a Lincoln (no, not Ford's luxury model). This one, I would trust with my life.
