Default Should Lexus oil filters be used???

Should I use OEM oil filters on oil changes or is there a good aftermarket that works just as well? Where's the best place to purchase?

Toyota filter part# 90915-20004 is, in my personal opinion, the best filter you can use on you car. I believe you can get them from Carlson Toyota at the decent price.

BTW, Toyota filter part# 90915-20004 is Lexus filter all of the Lexus part is made by Toyota anyway.

Apparently there are other Toyota filters that will fit our engines but they are not the same, they do not have the same high quality checkvalves - I always use the Lexus part number, I'm sure Carson will have a good price as usual -

Another vote for the 90915-20004 Toyota filter. I believe it's $7.25 from Carson Toyota.

I have had very good luck with my K&N oil filter in Mexico City. Feels much better than the Toyota filter.
