Default 95 SC400 PS Pump

OK....as so many have undertaken this fix....has anyone a solution for:

On removal of the pump I managed to detach the banjo fitting along with the
27mm setting bolt for the valve and spring in the body of the old pump.

Now no leverage to get line detached so I can attach to and install new pump.
Also unable to break loose the mid connection of the high pressure hose to
attack the issue on a work bench. I don't wish to go all the way back to the rack
and the issues that brings in.

Tutorial?
Did I screw up removing the banjo?
I have tried to reattach line to old pump, remount, and try again, but unsuccessful.

Stymied!!!

banjos can be difficult - if the angle of the fitting isn't just right, it will never start...

Default Out not In

My issue is the banjo and the top nut both came off with the line and fitting between
them as a unit. Now I need to separate with no leverage.

Beginning to think reverse threading, but have discounted that in light of no
obvious idiot comments from the experts.

Just stymied and confused, although I will take your re install comment to heart.
