hesitation???
whenever i normally accelerate my car normally hesitates at about 1500 rpms. also if i were to be in nuetral and rev the engine and let off the throttle, a dying noise is heard at about the same rpm range. does anyone know what the cause might be? is there an easy remedy?

I'll post a reply, even tohough I'm pretty tired and reallllly out of it.
You're opening up a can of worms when trying to diagnose these kinds of problems.
A good 'checklist' to go over to fix common things are -
spark plugs (+wires caps and rotors)
fuel filter
TPS (throttle position sensor)
PCV valve
air filter
full transmission fluid flush
catalytic convertor (replace)
