water outlet - well, depends on what part its leaking from...

the water outlet is attached to the thermostat housing on the inline 6 cars (at least one of them is) - there is a gasket between these two - clean and replace the gasket with new... there is also the possibility it is leaking from the hose connection - perhaps time for a new hose and hose clamp...

anything more specific? picture of leak perhaps?

its quite easy to do yourself if you have some basic tools,

I would not use RTV Silicone on a Thermostat housing. Definately go for the gasket. Even Autozone should carry one, for under $10.

I dont have any pics...at least not yet. I'll see if i can take some and i'll post them up. Also, i'm only going by what my service advisor told me.....so there may be no leak at all - just the dealership trying to milk me for my money.

generally, if its not leaking in that area, it may just be a trace of a leak - not necessarily wet, but where it was seeping... may not be a huge leak just yet, but if it becomes one, it will become an issue...

Hopefully not a big issue. Where do I even begin to look for the seeping/leak? Is it something that I can get my hands down into to fix or does it have to go into the shop?

Probably not a big deal, it is relatively easy to work on...

That being said, there is potential for messing it up and making the leak worse... Don't be scared to get your hands dirty, and, worst case scenario, you do it twice... the gaskets are cheap...

Get it pressure tested and you will find the leak.

Perhaps... sometimes this seeping will only happen while the car is running and the coolant is at operating temperature, which, I might add, in a properly warmed vehicle is the same as a pressure test...
