Well i got off a phone call with a buddie of mine who sells a bunch of parts at whole sale price and told me that Ishino is the same as OEM. I was wondering if this was true. If so it'll save me around $20 on a rear main seal.
chances are it might be ok, but, for would it be worth it to save $20 if the seal fails because you cheaped out and have to pull the whole trans again???
Ishino parts are excellent quality, and I'm fairly sure they are an OE supplier to Toyota. I've used their gaskets and seals many times without any issue.

Can anyone confirm that Ishino is OEM?
Thanks
Ishino is an OEM supplier for Honda, Toyota, and many other brands. Chances are, the gaskets you get from Toyota's stockroom is Ishino.
