Default major fluid drop?

weird....was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
the power steering fluid level in my car dropped dramatically overnight, although i see no leakage onto the driveway where it was parked, nor in the engine compartment. i knew it was the p.s. because when i backed it out, i could hear typical 'groaning' noises associated w/ low levels....

the car was parked for the first time on my new driveway which has a pretty severe decline. obviously, this has something to do w/ it, but w/o any evidence of leakage, i wonder where the stuff disappeared to? i parked the car on level ground for the entire day, ran the engine for a while, w/o levels returning to normal.

i hesitated to add fluid because i don't want to overfill, but had no choice to drive it. we'll see if it's overfilled tomorrow....

any comments or advice?

You don't need Lexus brand PS fluid because there is none. Just go to buy any PS fluid and fill it almost max. level and see if it still goes down. But don't run the car with low PS fluid and the pump is making the whinning noise, you will burn the pump.
How do you like Atlanta so far? I hope everything working out fine for you and hope you can find everything in all of your boxes..

filled her up w/ tranni fluid (used as p.s. fluid in the gs).....we'll she's definetly got an issue as she drops to no fluid in about 12 hours. i've made an appointment. still no fluid leakage on the driveway, although i've gone through a quart of fluid....i'm trying not to drive her until the appointment...i don't know where all the fluid is going!

anyone have any ideas.....

oh the humanity! it turns out that the power steering mechanism was damaged due to loading/unloading my car onto the car carrier trailer (most likely bottomed out).....it's gonna cost me 17 bills

geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzz that's a chunk o change.

I read a post somewhere about the valve on the back of the
pump as being faulty, causing fluid to be sucked into the exhaust
and burned. Leaving NO fluid trail. The valve operates on vacuum
of the exhaust manifold I think , but when the "seal" is worn then it lets fluid get by.

If the P/S rack is damaged and a leak is occuring , then you would definitely see a puddle and fluid around the bottom area.
Is there "damage" marks on the chassis ?

The valve is like $250.
