Tire Llight Question
I Have a 2008 ES350 and the tire light keeps popping up due to not having a spare, I would like to buy one but dont want to pay the dealer $841 for one
I have looked around and have found loads of donuts (spares) available, my question is could I just buy one of these then have a tire place install a TMPS for me to get that light to stay off?

Do you mean you don't have the spare tire or removed the spare tire out of the vehicle? Some of the ES350 comes without full size spare tire, just the donut spare so no sensor was install in the donut.In this case the ID code #5 show 0000000.
If you buy the donut spare tire put in the trunk, you still need to go to Lexus dealer. They can read the ID code # off your tires without dismount the tires, then use the techstream to rewrite the ID code#,but they have to leave the spare tire(donut) as ID 0000000.
I don't know about your car history, where did you buy it or what you did to your car. Please give us more detail.
