Trunk Release not working

Trunk Release not working

Minor issue, but my interior release won't pop the trunk anymore.
The remote still works, and of course key does also
This is a 98 GS4.
Has anyone run accross this before - or know where to start looking?

Nevermind

Should have done the search first.

The lock between the trunk and gas door releases was pushed in.
Unlocked it and is now working.

Did you try the Trunk release inside the trunk?

My wife's remote trunk release for her 2001 GS300 hasn't worked since she bought it last year (2006) with 13,850 miles.

The interior release works fine.

Any suggestions?
