Default 2008 RX400h Brake Fluid Change

Is it true that a brake fluid change on the RX400h is not done in the normal, typical fashion as other cars and that you need a software program to pulse the brakes to bleed them?

To do the flush properly, you need the Toyota/Lexus Techstream scanner. The system can be bled normally, with a vaccuum bleeder by cracking open lines and such.. but it usually results in a check engine light because the solinoids were not properly cycled by the scan tool. I would not attempt this in your driveway... the system is very complicated.
