98 es300... Sensor question...
Is there possibility that an o2 sensor be messing up a speed sensor? My del is giving me p0135 and p1705 I purchased both sensors yesterday and I was wondering if I should replace the o2 sensor and see if it corrects the speed sensor ... Or shld I just replace both at the same time... What are the recommendations as far as replacing both these sensors do I replace and then clear the codes myself or shld the car clear it itself?

Yes. I drove the LFA.

There is a very low chance that the two are related. It sounds like you have a bad O2 sensor heater circuit, easiest way to check, unplug the sensor and use a ohmmeter to check for resistance on the sensor (checking the 2 black wires), if there is no resistance, then the heater inside is bad.
As far as the transmission code goes... P1705 is "NC2 Revolution Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Direct Clutch Speed Sensor)". The sensor is located directly on top of the transmission behind the starter assy. Check the wiring, but most likely you will need a new sensor, they are relatively cheap.
