Default P0100 & P0110 car not starting..clicks only.

My car is Lexus LS400 model 2000
While trying to start my car it keeps clicking without starting engine..sometimes engine starts and die direct...but after many tries it starts.

i have checked the car with error code reader and got these error codes:

P0100 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction
P0110 Intake Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction

Please guys anyone knows how to fix these code problems?

Looks like a bad or disconnected mass air flow sensor... I would check for wiring damage, loose connections, or a bad mass air flow sensor. As far as the click and no start, it sounds like you need a new starter. Two different problems happening at once.

new starter cost alot of $$

Before you go replacing the starter, get it tested to be sure because it's a hella expensive.

it does sound like two different problems, as RTIS mentioned... click no start is almost always a dead or dying battery, loose battery connection, corrosion on the battery connection, or a bad starter... as GSquicksilver mentioned, it can be repaired, but that's not the hard or expensive part - the hard / expensive part is getting the starter out of the car...

Got any more history on how this issue started???

i had some starting problem last time before 2 weeks, but after cleaning the battery terminals and placing grease jell on them problem solved and car was starting from the first click. Until 2 days before, again the problem came back.
i checked the starter relay heared the click sound, so its not the relay.
i havnt checked the starter fuse...because i think if its blown starter fuse then the car will not start at all i guess? am i right?
I have been searching alot these days.. i know that the starter motor place in LS400 UCF20 need alot of work to get it out.
How could i test the starter?
Maybe its the neutral safety switch >>> how to check that??
Some times i get the car started by pressing the gas pedal at same time of click to turn the ignition. I dont think its the throttle body since i have already cleaned it. My car' s battery is new and not dead. My car's alternator also is a new one.
In other times, my car starts direct from the first click!
whats going on with this car!

Actually, the most common issue with toyota starters is that the relay works, but the contacts it works against foul and need to be cleaned / replaced...

what about the battery itself? have it tested, it might just not have enough reserve capacity... not necessarily voltage, but cranking amps decline as a battery ages...

it's definitely not the neutral safety switch, the starter wouldn't even click...

now, as far as why it doesn't stay running after it does start, is probably related to your check engine light codes - as mentioned, mass air flow stuff, possibly disconnected, loose wire, or just bad completely...

solved P0100 & P0110 was because of disconnected MAF sensor.

Starting problem solved by changing contacts + plunger of the starter.
