Default AC Denso Compressor stucks will gear on P

am having a problem with my lexus LS400 model 2000
the problem is that the Denso Compressor does not work while automatic gear in position of parking (P) .
the Denso Compressor stucks and works...again stuck and works...and the race gage Goes up and down rapidly.

but while driving the car the Compressor works fine and it give cold air, the problem only while Park.

some one told me that maybe the AC Power intake needs cleaning?

any one have any ideas please share it.

Welcomes to CL. I think you need to take your LS400 to the shop and check the freon to make sure it's not over charged. You stated that your race gauge going up and down very fast at idle may cause by overcharged of the freon, or low air flow through the condenser.

Your problem may just be the blocked/clogged condenser or the engine fan clutch not working properly. I think your compressor is fine.

Problem solved by cleaning the Throttle body.
