moon roof not closing!!

moon roof not closing!!
I have '98 GS 300 w/70k miles and my moon roof won't close!!!
When I try to close it, it will attempt to close but then retracts stopping half way. There is nothing in the tracks b/c i have checked that and I have read the manual which states that it will retract w/the auto-safety feature if something is caught in the way. But there is nothing there!!!!!!!!
After about 30 min. i finally closed it but only by forcing it to close by pushing the back end of the moon roof up to stay in place.
Has anyone had this problem and what are your recomendations?

You might wanna just put some of that lubricating grease around the.. wow it's so early i can't even think of what it's called but u know what im talkin about, lol and hopefully that'll work, Even if anything isn't caught in the way, if it has to struggle at all when it closes it'll go back up, hope thats only what the problem is... good luck
