Default oil light flashed...

ok so when i dropped off my fren tonight. my oil light came on...then when i started driving away it went off. and it didn't come back again on the way home. going to check the level tommoorrow. but if it's fine...what other problems might it be if it happens more often later on? i just changed my oil about 1,000 miles ago.

peace out

check the level first before anything. Most likely is it needs more. The lights will flash when it's urgent, from what you have discribed, it's not urgent but should be dealt with.

Red light or amber light? Red is pressure. That's bad. Amber is oil level.

it was amber. gonna go check it now.

Peace out

edit

ok so the oil level was still ok. it was just a lil more on the low side the full. so i just put it back to 75% full. guess i should watch for oil spots on my driveway and stuff. lol.

Peace out
