Copper crush gaskets on powersteering rack

Default Copper crush gaskets on powersteering rack

Hey quick question I just swapped out my rack for a " new " used one

my question is how many crush washers are on the rack for the banjo fittings?

im not sure, but I need to know how many on each banjo and where will they be located?

Thanks ANY HELP ASAP would be great

I believe there are 4 in total. Two per.

Correct. There is a crush washer on the top and bottom of each banjo fitting. There are 2 banjo fittings; one for the pressure and one for the return line.

just a FYI, those aren't crush washers... they are just plain flat copper washers...

So I went to HDR ( Home Depot Racing ) and grabbed some neoprene washers and put them on


tested it all day today works like a charm
drove about 50 miles and made as many turns as possible
No leaks

just gotta work the air out the system and top it off now
