so i tried to pull the codes for my tranny to help figure out my delayed/vibrating shifting but it just blinked continuously so im guessing there is no code. also ran my TRAC codes and came up with #51, Problem with Engine Control System, what the hell is that? also got #22 for air bag light, airbag warning system.
1. what is "problem with engine control system"?
2. what is "airbag warning system"?
i think i need to make a video of my wierd *** vibration/delayed shifting. and yes i tried searching but came up with nothing because it doesn't search the exact words and searches the words individually.

 

ABS/TRAC code 51 - I beleive this just means that the engine reported a malfunction or set the check engine light to on. The Trac ECU disables the Traction control while there is a engine malfunction. If there is no code in the engine system there may be a short in ecu, trac ecu, or the harness.

"airbag warning system" is the airbag light on the dash

Airbag Code 22 - You did not mention the Airbag light being on so I am going to assume it is not. This could be the Ecu "B" fuse or the center airbag connector. Airbags are dangerous - check the fuse, if thats good leave it to a pro.

grr well damn, the TRAC light only came on after i spun out in the run so i dunno how a spin out can cause engine malfunction. i checked again today and its not the air bag light lol...its the seat belt warning light that went off.
