2004 Toyota Sienna A/C Problem
Hi, I'm looking for a little guidance before bringing my wife's van into the local dealership tomorrow. The A/C has been working intermittently for the last few weeks. Usually blows very cold. Sometimes blows warm, but if we cycle the A/C off then back on it blows very cold again. Yesterday it refused to blow cold no matter how many times cycled on and off. My uninformed guess is that this is some type of electrical issue (a switch?, thermostat?). Any suggestions how to proceed so that I don't have to pay for more than is actually required to repair it. I don't have a lot of confidence that the dealership has my best interests in mind. We all need to make a living, but I prefer that they do only what is required to fix the problem, rather than a full A/C rebuild!
Thanks!

Sounds reasonable. How would I check the operation of the clutch?
I took out the relay and a replacement is $61.00. Anyone know how I can test it prior to replacing it (no return policy)
Thanks!
