Update: I changed the rear diff fluid today. Used Mobil1 75W-90. So freaking thick!

Oil smelled like rotten egg, but not as bad as what others said about Redline oil.

Drain: No idea
Fill: 1 quart 24 ounces

Drain bolt was easy to open
Fill bolt was a PITA. I just wouldn't move (of course I opened the fill bolt first).

Drain bolt also has a magnet. Lots of metal scraps on mine!

Hopefully this will last me a good few years before I have to drain & fill again.

Honestly, both are great differential oil. I bet I can put either one in your car and you wouldn't be able to tell a difference

Both of them will exceed your daily driver's need. Just pick whichever one you prefer.

Thanks for the info!!
Did it this weekend and it went pretty well.
Will it hurt if I used too much fluid?
I ended up with a 1/4 of a bottle left. But I also poured some in with the drain bolt off to make sure everything came out.

So let me ask this again....one drain & fill gets almost all the fluid out? So no need to do more than one drain & fill, right?

I lost my owner's manual. What is the recommended change interval?

correct, just one drain and fill gets 99% of the fluid out...

no recommended interval... it just says inspect every 15k

I use Redline 75W90. was thinking about using lightweight 75W80 but was too chicken to do it.
