I'm leaking coolant from my radiator, and its becoming a corrosive mess. I'm afraid it will spread to other engine components. And since summer is here, I dont want my baby overheating. Any suggestions on fix its or new replacements?
BTW, 1999 GS300. Around 76K on it. Radiator's never been changed. All stock engine.

Your radiator is o.k. I've seen this all the time and it's normal for the coolant reservoir/over flow tank to developed something that look like your radiator is leaking. Just clean it off and check your coolant when the car is cold.

Hmmmm.....Wats the best way to clean that stuff off? It looks like radioactive waste...lol. Also, some1 said my radiator cap could be old. Should I change it?
So just clean up and make sure the coolant level is ok? Thats it?
Thanks again for the advice, much appreciated

I'm sure some of the member will give you another advise that opposite from me, but my 2001 GS did the same thing...
This shouldn't cause you any problems. Just keep the overflow away from paint and pets.
Yup. Don't overfill the reservoir. Just to the FULL mark is fine. Check the radiator cap and make sure the valve is free and the rubber gaskets are intact. Just fill up with distilled water.
