Most are going to be around 1.2 for the pads plus an additional .5 for the rotors... At the same time, most service shops will have what we refer to as "menu" pricing, meaning they charge the same rate no matter what the book calls for... Not all front brakes call for the same time, even though they are almost all very very similar...

My 2000 es 300 has error code p0446. I believe EVAP emmission control sensor. Just had new starter and the #1 coil packs replaced. Really can't afford to pay to have evap system done and would like to do it myself. How much should the parts cost ans aprox how long should it take? I am handy. Any tips diagrams or advice would be appreciated!

If you can't afford it and you don't live in an emissions testing area, then don't worry about it, it will never cause a drivability issue or cause any other damage. The only downside with the light always illuminated would be not knowing if another issue came up... all of that being said, the vacuum solenoid vent is a pretty easy replacement t, but you'll have to get under the back of the car...
mitsuguy can you tell me the time and cost of replacement of the evap emmissions control circuit on the 2000 lexus es 300? Thanks
That is kind of generic, but if we are talking about the vacuum solenoid valve as referenced above, it is .5 hours labor, if I recall... which means it takes someone about 10 minutes to replace once you can access it... its pretty easy...
Thanks for the info on the evap system. Unfortunately I live in NY, an emissions state, so I'll have to get under there and replace the part.
Thanks again
