Unhappy SC300 passenger seat problems

I have a 94 SC300. The front passenger seat motor is malfunctioning. Car has 110K miles and this just started. Seat now is all the way forward and when I attempt to move it back only one track of the seat motor works (side near the console) so the seat is "twisting". I have looked under the seat at the motor for maybe a loose wire. No luck.

Any inisghts into why this may be happening and does anyone know how I can remove the seat to get at the motor?

Regards and thanks

One of the track nut came loose and felt off and cause the worm gear to only move on one side while another side stationary. It's a pain in the neck to fix, but doable. Take it to the Lexus dealer and labor should not be more than 2.0 hrs.

Thanks for the input. I have been trying to put off taking it in but that is what I will do.

You should be able to do this yourself if you feel comfortable.
If you unbolt the seat from the floor and disconnect the power wire harness from the main body harness your seat should be loose. You can probably at this point tilt the seat back enough to get under it and get to the worm gear. I do agree that it is probably the worm gear coming loose from the motor housing.

Good Luck.
