Default Passenger Seat Motor or whole seat?

Can you get the specific motors for the passenger seat, or do you have to replace the whole seat?

My passenger side's adjustment all works except for the section that moves the lower seat portion longer or shorter depending on your height.

Can that section be replaced separately or would I need a whole new seat?

New motor or the connection is bad. A new motor might run a few hundred while a new seat is like $10K!

I did not think the passenger seat had that control - to make the seat longer or shorter. Are the controls for pass and driver seats the exact same? Thought pass seat had one less control.

I'd look into a used seat on ebay or a junk yard. It'll save you $$$

The passenger seat does have fewer controls, like no lumbar or something like that. You have to check, as the front passenger's seat is one seat I never sit in. I'm either driving, or sitting in the rear passenger side seat! It's not a duplicate of the driver's seat, and this goes for both my LS and LX (so I'd guess all the models). Why, I don't know. You'd think the front passenger might want memory seats, too?

The only manufacturer that I recall doing passenger memories is Mercedes.

I'd suggest you replace just the blown motor,as finding a seat in good condition will not be easy, nor cheap.

On my car,the pasenger seat has adj. lumbar support, elec. headrest height, fore + aft slide, and backrest angle adjustment. it's ventilated with heating + cooling also. About half as many adjustments as the driver's seat has.
