Default Defective wheel bearing

At about 13k my 05' LS 430 started making a noise that I thought was tire related but it turned out to be a wheel bearing. Has anyone else had this problem? I am glad it was under warranty. It seems that a car of this reputation should be bullet proof for at least 50k before the wheels fall off, so to speak....Joe

Default Had the same problem

I had the rear wheel bearing replaed on my GS400 at 130k. I originally thought it was a tire issue but it wound up being the wheel bearing.

I've had the left rear wheel bearing changed on a previous 2003 LS430 at about 8k mles on it. Warranty Repiar, but it surprised me as well.
