What is this guys???
Found this in my engine bay at the top right corner.
Worried it may be something I need. The car runs though.
It was just sitting there............

You will have to remove the aluminum timing cover and re-install the seal. It's just an insulator to reduce the friction between the timing cover and the engine. It won't hurt anything if you decide to ignore it.

I'm in the process of trying to get a few small things fixed on my GS (paint chips, crack in windsheild, etc)
Can you solder? I need to get my SRT put on...

Hahaha. Funny you should ask! I just bought a beginner soldering kit yesterday from radioshack to practice. I thought you had already installed yours and I want yours as a blueprint just in case I run into problems. Guess you'll get your feet wet before I do, but if you need the soldering kit to use, hit me up. I'm right up the street.
