Default Door Problems and Unidentifible Beeping

Hi. We just bought a 1990 LS400 from our good friend and are totally happy with our new car

Our new thing is though, that once in a while the front passenger door won't close. The little latch gets caught or whatever. Usually I pull the outside handle and it fixes itself. Yesterday though, the door wouldnt open with the inside, nor the outside handle. Last night it started a new thing of beeping when we turn it off. I'm not sure if it's somehow connected to the door not working properly. But then, this morning I opened the door from the outside and inside just fine. But, the beeping still happens every time we turn it off. I'm just wondering if A) the door thing is gonna end up costing alot to get fixed if it becomes a regular problem and B) where the heck the beeping is coming from.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Crystal

If the beeping is a Honda-like beeping, the sunroof tilted open, it tells you it's open.
