what's your current gas mileage? do a search and you can find some pointers

replace spark plus, ditributor, distributor cap, seafoam, proper air pressure in the tire. tornado thing is a hoax.

donktan,

Please try to use a descriptive title like "how can I get better mileage". It helps members decide whether they might have something to contribute to your question. Many will just ignore one the way you have it titled (I updated it for you this time).

Here's a thread you should read that pretty much covers a wide gambit of additional things you can do to get better mileage:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=177157

Ignore the tornado and turbinator things, it's a hoax. There are lots of threads about it if you use search feature of our forum.

Lots of crap out there like the turbinator and 'tornado'

well i did that trick, took the stock mufflers out and just running on straight pipes, i do notice a little better mpg, but i don't think 2-3 mpg increase, and on top of that, i don't really think it sounds like a semi truck, but it depends on what u put on afterward, and spark plugs is a must as well.

i did quite a few changes over the summer break. i changed my spark plugs, radiator fluid, and took out my stock mufflers, and everything little things adds up, and all that it did made a difference, especially on the freeways, like starting from a full tank going highway 5, be4 i did the changes, i got 190miles at half way mark. but with the changes, it got up to about 210 half way, and i travel at around 80-85mph(no A/C), and that's like a galon right there, but that's on the freeway. in the city, i don't get much out of it, even tho it is still better than be4.

do oil change regularly, get alignment, good tires, check everything nice and clean, and u will know the difference.
