injector cleaner
Injector cleaner is not necessary with modern engines and fresh gasoline (hard to find stale gas nowadays with the tight supply.) Use any brand name gasoline and your engine will do fine. I never used injector cleaner in my 2002 RX300 and never a problem. I even buy gas from 7Eleven.
The GM stuff is not really an injector cleaner. It is poured into cylinders directly (through spark plug holes) to remove carbon deposit on top of the pistons - a common problem with GM cars. You leave it in overnight, put a towel on top of the engine and crank it to get all the gunk out. I played with it once and it ain't pretty.

From my experience, I've noticed a mileage difference when using an injector cleaner product like Chevron w/ Techron Concentrate. I usually fill it into the tank 1-2 times a year, and it provides a 1-2 MPG improvement every time.
I would agree with the cheveron products... I have used this stuff before even in my ES and i think it works great... I haven't tried it yet in the GS but i always use higher octane in the GS
Just try it it won't hurt the engine....it should help it.... Good Luck

The brand name gasoline in Mexico is pure garbage, I have tried many injector cleaners, but these are my winners:
1) Techron
2) Restore injector cleaner
3) NOS injector cleaner
To be sure, you can get any of these at WalMart or an Autozone.
There are additives you can also use, but not necessary unless you live where I live.

i used the b12 chemtool in my gas plus i used the spray to clean the carbon in the throttle and my idle went from 900 to 1200 on start up this was recommended by several mechanics and it did all that was advertised
