Unhappy poping sound

Hi Guys

I have a 1993 SC 300 with 127k on it.....

The problem I'm having is whenever the car is very hot from a long drive or something I get this poping sound coming from the car like some is really hot.....

I can't tell where it's coming from....

It might be from the exhaust or the cats.....I really can't tell but once the car cool do the poping goes away.....

Helppppppppppppp

Thanks
Jerome

mostly all toyota/lexus cars do it. all my moms previas and siennas did it, as with her current 05 LX. also my dads LS and my SC. nothing wrong, just exhaust cooling down.

indeed, not a thing to worry about. This will occurr even after short drives, depending on how hard you drive. I believe any time the engine gets up to operating temp, it does this while cooling down.

Default poping sound

Thanks guys for getting back to me on the poping sound........I now have to only worry about the evaporator in my SC300 that is now leaking and I also have no AC......I got the new part already......will try to install it this weekend.......has anyone ever replace one in a 1993 SC300 and can tell me what needs to be removed? I have done heater cores before so I'm up to doing the job.

Thanks
