Default Buzzing sound

Hey guys I'm getting a buzzing sound from what seems to be the bottom left side of my car. Kind of like something is loose. I checked my exhaust (stock) and it seems to be fine with nothing loose. I also get a buzzing sound from what seems to be my heat shield on top of the exhaust, but thats only on initial start up when the engine is cold. Anyone with some insight on this?

its probably the heat shield in your situation.
i noticed a baffle inside my exhaust muffler going bad and it buzzes at like 2k rpm. you can have someone sit outside the car to isolate the noise. hope that helps.

actually I just was playing around with it and it seems as though the sound comes around 1600k. I'm guessing it might be the same problem as you. What would be the fix?

you could go to a muffler shop and get a new muffler (rear section of the exhaust), find a used exhaust system or just buy an aftermarket exhaust. if it's like mine its just the muffler 'can' that has the issue. it's more annoying than anything.

I had the same problem, it can be the metal ring fastener thats holder ur 3rd cat underneath ur car. Mine was loose and it keeps rattling whenever there's air going thru the exhaust system, even at idle it was rattling. Once I ripped off that metal ring, its been better but I still get the nasty heatshield shreading noise when I accelerate.
