Default loose rear spoiler

The rear spoiler in my 97 SC 400 is loose. Anybody know how to tighten it, or do I have to go to the dealer. I'm afraid the car wash will rip it off completely.

Thanks.

WIsh I had an SC!
On my RX, they drilled in through the hatch shell and inside are rubber hole covers to access the attachments for the spoiler. May be the same on the SC?? Let us know what you find.

Default Hand wash in the meantime....

You didn't mention if it's a factory or add-on spoiler, but on the underside of the trunk lid is a black trim panel which pops off- remove it and see if you see screws that you can tighten. If there are no screws, it was glued on, and you can use some of that 3M double-sided adhesive to firm up the attachment.

Thanks for the information Perry. It was a factory installed spoiler and it had the bolts, just as you said. I tightened it down and I'm good to go.

Thanks again!!
