Windshield Wiper Washer Hoses ?
I have a leak somewhere in my hose line to the washers, the pump is fine but water doesn't reach the outlets. Was quoted in excess of $200.00 to repair at dealership. Has anyone done this repair themselves, and can tell me the level of difficulty to do it myself?

bring a piece of the tube in to a hardware store and buy a bunch of it and reroute it. It's pretty easy. You just need to start at the pump and follow the existing tubing right to the nozzles.

Hey dude, we're trying to help. My point is that the level of difficulty is a 2 on a scale of 1-5. Almost anyone can do this repair. It doubt it would take more than 2 hours to do the job with all new hose. I've done this before on a car I used to own and it's the same for any car. This is easier than changing plug wires.

Thank You (jeremyp11) for your (2nd) reply (with the exception of the "Dude"). I would have appreciated it much more if you had given this answer in the first place. You assume up front that I'm a complete idiot. I too have done the same "simple" repair on previous cars. As educated as you must be, I think you would have to agree, it's probably a little more difficult on an SC400. Beyond the obvious removal of the hood insulation panel, I just thought maybe someone could give me some heads up on any not so obvious obstacles I might encounter along the way. Thanks anyway.

Where did you get the idea that anyone was trying to insult your intelligence?
At CL, we are like a family, we know eachother so well, that we can get to the point quick to save time. I dont think they were trying to insult you.
