Default Sheared off screw-how to remove

I was replacing my amp last night and a screw that holds the CD head into place sheared off-now stuck in the screw hole. Any ideas on how to remove without damaging the threads? Thanks.

If the bolt is large enough, you can drill a hole down the center and insert an "easy-out" (sold in hardware stores) to back it out.

I knew THIS guy would know how to handle the problem Only thing is since he's dealing with a damn amp screw it's most likely small, so drilling the length of the shaft would pose a problem.

Default screw removal !

Hey had this problem on a set of heads on my bike .and if you go to a good auto supply store they have drill bits that have a reverse twist to them,as you drill into them with your drill set for reverse they will pull the screw out .worked like a hot damb! oh yeh ,make sure that you set your drill at a slow speed otherwise it'll skip all over the place and make a hell of a mess! you might want to get two of these bits incase one breaks being they are going to be pretty thin .[ you don't want to go back twice, like me!]
good luck!
