Unhappy Air condition

I am having trouble with my ac/ I just got it charged w/R12......It blows out Africa hot air or North pole cold. When I adjust the temperature from cold to hot it stays too hot even at 66 degrees. There is no in between comfortable temp, any suggestions on how to remedy the problem>?

compressor? condensor? Expansion valve? Any one of these could be bad. I had m entire system ripped out and redone. Costed a pretty penny. Check the error code by turning on your car and pressing auto climate + recirculate at the same time.

Sounds like the electric motor that adjusts the little door in the vent system that controls the amount of warm air mixing into the ductwork may not be working properly...or the valve itself that varies the amount of hot anti-freeze that circulates through the heater core. I would check both of those things, too.

Sound like you may even have a leak somewhere, find out if the things pressurized. I re-did my entire system myself, 3 weeks of work def worth saving the 3g's lexus wanted... and it turned out i just needed new o-rings and a new core, lexus wanted to change EVERYTHING out!!
