cant start car....?
alright, im new to this forums and dont mind my name, i couldnt think of anything else. well, my dad has a 2001 GS300 with less than 10k miles on it. He only uses the car once a week. for the past 4 months, he couldnt start his car about 5 times without having me to help him jump start it. this is frustrating to me and i have no clue whats going on. low batteries probably? electrical? no lights are on in the whole car when it shuts off. confusing to me because sometimes the car starts fine and all of a sudden, it cant start. if anyone can help me with this it'll be fine. im still gonna go buy a new battery tommorrow just in case though. thanks in advance.

Warranty
Being a 2001 with only 10K easy miles on it, the car is still under a full bumper-to-bumper warranty--take it in to the Lexus dealer and have them check out the car for free. It may very be the battery (which it sounds like it is), but something else may be going on. If it is the battery the dealer will replace under a pro-rated system, so you don't need to pay full price for it.
