This has been answered in earlier posts and a search will get you the answer. I recall it was Panasonic but was recently changed. Regardless od brand, I've never had an 7 year battery last 7 years.

I noticed the battery in my 99 RX says made in Mexico, so it cannot be Panasonic.

I also hear Panasonic but don't know how reliable the info is. A Lexus OEM battery lasting 7 years is hard to believe; most of our batteries tend to last about the average of 3 years.

My battery died this winter. I thought the 84 month warranty was worth a shot so here it is. I don't know when it was last replaced but I can tell you it was very old.

My original battery started giving me issue in mid-2002, about 4 years or so of original life?

I hope the new warranty lives up to its name.

The 84-month warranty may be pro-rated so it may not worth much.

I did have a Motorcraft battery that lasted an amazing 8 years in my '79 Ford Fairmont way back. Though most of my other batteries lasted anywhere from 2.5 to 4 years.

So far so good with my 2002 RX300's battery.
