Default radiator repair

92- es300, the top part of the radiator has a crack and is leaking small amounts of fluid, i tryed the permatex patch. After 4 months it failed, have any ideas ?

i dunno if you thought about this option, but you could get a new radiator , just a thought

doesn't help, new is always easy but costly for an 12 year old car!

how is it costly? for about $400 you can get a new one installed...

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, but that post should be deleted.

Do a search, I got a new one for $133 and swapped the radiator itself out in around a half hour on my '93.

What takes so long is flushing the damned engine block! No point in replacing it if you're not going to fully flush the entire system...

Swap the car.....it will only run you about $30,000!
