Sounds like things have changed quite a bit since last spring, in terms of dealers' willingness to discount off of MSRP. We had to work very hard to get a modest discount of even a few thousand dollars off of MSRP back in the April/May 2024 time frame.
Many dealers around the country we talked to, were still "asking" for markups of $5K above MSRP at the time.
It does look like they raised MSRPs several thousand dollars for the 2025 LXs as compared to 2024.
Looking at the charts from Lexus below - wow, a $6K uplift YoY for our F-Sport. Ouch.
Picked up a blackout edition last Saturday...had to negotiate hard to get 3k discounts. Lexus of Austin was acting too pricey and Lexus of Lakeway matched the price for a blackout edition. Still got to do the PPF though for some reason the PPF installation prices are crazy!!
Honestly for the Twin Turbo Engine (not Hybrid) I don't see any difference to buy 2024/25, yes if 25 is available immediately I will go for it - but if I have to wait I will go with 24
i was expecting a minor look and feel changes but seems there is no different at all,

Toyota doesn't update their trucks that often, other than minor facelifts every 4-5 years primarily to the front grill and rear taillights. So, don't be surprised if they make essentially this same body (with different grille) for the next 10 years. Note that 2025 is the FOURTH year of the J300-based LX600, and they basically haven't changed anything on the outside at all. I'm sure a small grille update is in the works for the next year or two, but the truck will mostly remain the same externally.

The 25 600 has notably front massage seats, full digital driver display, and most importantly the engine recall fix. Early 24s built might not have the new parts to address the recall as I understand.

While I would have surely appreciated the 2025 feature changes, a similarly optioned 2025 would have cost me $118,500. Without the 2025 price increase and my price discount, my price for the 2024 LX was $106,500. I'm thinking the $12K savings was worth it. I'm assuming I would not have received any discount on the 2025 model at this time.

Great decision, congrats on the 24 and the excellent discount. Agree the new stuff in the 25 are for many reasons not worth it. Massage seats are bloat but necessary for the competition. The digital cluster is nice and is also used in other Lexus models but the fuel gauge is bad, ticks are annoyingly large and readings jump as fuel levels decrease. The engine fix is a peace of mind, but imho very disappointing that they’ve off loaded their negligence/mistake by significantly increasing msrps across the line of 2025 Toyota/Lexus trucks.
There have been several new 2024s listed in my area since the new year began. Unfortunately dealers are asking insane prices over 2025 msrp. I’m guessing their justification is low stock and access to immediate delivery but at these prices no thanks.
