Pricing thoughts on a 2011 LX570 w/ 27k miles
I was briefly looking at a 2011 LX570 but the guy had competing offers at $55k for 23k miles and I was like no. I decided to just go ahead with maybe a 2021 that has 15k miles around the 90K mark.
I see things about the market crashing but I am not so sure with the LX570. There where only 4k in total for 2021 sent to the United States for sale. Also, the fancy Toyota Sequoia aka LS600 is not that impressive in my book. I really do not think twin turbo engines are as reliable as a solid V8 engine and I could just get a Sequoia it is cheaper when they do come out.
What are peoples thoughts on this? Will the prices go down? Even if Lexus some how makes more LX600s I really would not want one.

I changed up my original post it just seems like a weird place in time to try to buy a LX570. I am not sure if prices will get better since there is a limited supply. I am almost thinking of waiting for the folks drinking the environmental cool aid to dump their cars or the people who are forced to sell due to financial reasons.
As it stands the LX570 shopping experience has been crap. I have now looked at 3 2020/2021 LX570s and they have all had problems (bondo or paint work).

$55k for 2011 is ridiculous. Even with 23k miles on it. Not only it is 11 years old, but also it's not even a previous model (it's the previous model of the previous model).
If you don't mind the age of LX, then consider one with ~90k miles. It'll be ~$20k cheaper and extra 70k mileage for LX 570 is nothing.
If you do want it to be as close to perfect as possible, then going 2021 is the way to go. I'd recommend looking for Inspiration edition, they are quite rare (only 500 of them were brought to the US).
I love how black LX 570 Inspiration Series looks:

I ended up with a 2021 LX570 with Nightfall Mica exterior and a caramel interior. I have only seen this one LX570 with that combination. A dealer was telling me that only 5% of the 4,000 LX570's are the blue color. I ended up buying it from a BMW dealership that did no reconditioning.
This is actually the 4th one I looked at the other three where "L/Certified". First one had suspension work and a fully repainted rear bumper. The second one had extensive bondo in the rear hatch. The third one had a small bird egg that ate away the clear coat the size of the palm of my hand. The sad part is all three vehicles had clean carfax reports and dodgy Lexus service history. I did file a complaint with Lexus Corporate and so they fixed the records that they are all minimized. So essentially a person buying a car would have to request that all the service notes to be expanded. Essentially, Lexus made it easier for the dealers to sell problem cars as L/Certified.
I did consider ordering a new GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate. I honestly do not have much faith in the dealerships. I get they have no cars but still they are super shady these days.

I actually just add the VIN to the Lexus Driver / Owners portal and review the service history prior to buying any Lexus vehicle. It is free and I do not have to leave home. I did have the service representative at the dealer print the history on the new car and it was all minimized and it did not show the problems. I had to go back and have the service representative expand each service history note and then print it. Lexus is starting to look more like my local Ford dealership. At least I know they are shady AF and I take steps to protect myself.
