Default How do I replace this part?

I just bought a 2014 LX570. With 150k miles it has definitely been well loved. There are just a few little things I’m wondering if I can replace myself. One of which is the small decorative strip between the dash and wood panel above the glove box. I’ve checked the Lexus OEM site but not exactly sure how to find this piece. Anyone know how to find the name of this piece?

i would be tempted to get some liquid chrome paint and a tiny brush, and just touch it up.

like the type of paint you put on plastic toy models....

I was wondering the same thing. The chrome strip above the dash screen is starting to do the same. It’s odd.

On my 2011 that wood piece below the chrome had warped. It was probably from sitting in the sun. I think you have to replace the wood as well not just the chrome and I believe it was like $700 or more. Your best bet would probably be to paint it.
