Default wood grain trim removal

Is it possible to replace the optional wood grain trim around the instrument cluster and dash with the standard plastic trim? If so, is this a difficult job and where would I find the replacement pieces?

these don't replace the oem woods, they just cover the other parts with fake wood and does nothing to the oem wood other than the ash tray.

the only way I saw was to replace them with oem blackwood which can only be sourced from japan and I think the driver side would not fit perfect.

Gotcha,

Have not seen any of them in person, but like the idea of something other than wood too. Good luck.

Guess you gotta find the right kit then, I haven't seen any kit that would cover the oem wood, but I also don't bother with them anyways as from your picture to prove it's not nice imo. And as in knock off body kits go, these are just like knock offs for the wood... though if there's a brushed metal one out there and actually is metal as in it's cold to the touch, I'd like to try it out.

Also, where do you get your blackwood? I couldn't find them anywhere other than used that may pop up once a year...

Wouldn't that sticker show some of the original wood through, and actually imitate the real look of the blackwood? Kind of like mesh with the original wood... Or am I crazy and does that sticker look fine.

yeah its the center console that does not fit correctly and i actually just installed black wood in my car, and took out the dask wood kit that was in my car.. its a hard process to remove it because you have to heat the double sided tape that was there!
