Default Bought a 2017 LX570 Yesterday!

Have been following this 2017 LX570 at a local dealership for a couple months now and decided to see what they would offer me for my 2017 Volvo XC90 Inscription.

The LX was in the color spec (Blue/Cabernet) and mileage/condition we were looking for so we made the trade and I brought this sexy beast home last night!

36k miles, all the extras. One owner bought locally by a older woman that commuted to her restaurants in it. Need to get the credit card key that the original owner couldnt find but other than that, it’ll make a great companion to our 2016 GX460 that we bought new.

This will now be my wife’s truck and the GX is going to get a little talker and see a ton more miles and use

At its current age/mileage I plan to do a full fluid service. As it has some factory warranty left based on its in-service date so I’ll have my local dealership have a poke around for fun.

Very excited

Congrat!! Both the XC90 and LX are great SUV. Btw, have you experience any issue with the XC90 during your ownership?

Granted I only had my Volvo for ~6 months but I managed to put over 10k miles on it in that time.

The only issue I had was the front brake pads would knock when reversing and turning out of a parking space. Dealership reshimmed them and the noise went away.

The infotainment would take a while to load when starting the car. Starting the car and throwing it in reverse, the reverse camera would not come on until a couple moments later. Quirky.

Overall the truck was comfy. Inscription leather was amazing over base. Bowers and Wilkins sound was something else! Real theater quality stuff.

Glad I got to experience it but it was too soft overall and ultimately, the supercharged/turbo motor was not something I was going to keep long term. I gave it 3 years in the beginning, kept it for 6 months because this LX became available and the deal was right. You only live once and weve been drooling over this spec for years.

you might want to have dealer take a look about the reversing issue. The reverse camera or surround view if equipped should be come on as soon as in reverse even when the screen is still display the warning safety claim page. It is independent from head unit. The reverse engagement changes display input to camera feed regardless in infotainment is ready or not. In other wards, if your camera feed won’t come on right way, there would be the issue some where that prevented switching the input on display, in worst case, that would be Driver Assist ECU.

The OP was referring to the camera/infotainment in the XC90.

I experience the same on my XC90. the infotainment and reverse camera sometime need a good 10~20 sec to work properly.

Great color combo! Not sure i ever saw blue/red. Looks like we have very similar cars. I too have 2015 GX460 and 2017LX570. Wish they were same color combo.
