Default EPA MPG Changes

I know these things aren't anything to be considered for fuel mileage but I was shopping for a new one when I noticed the MPG estimate is lower for 2020. Does anyone know why? Its kind of a big drop so it made me curious.

2016-19 13 City / 18 Highway
2020 12 City / 16 Highway

My MY15 could get 12 city and 18-20 highway... BUT getting 18-20highway kinna voids the fun.
But changes in MPG rating probably due to changes in EPA testing criteria

That's what I figured, just a changed method in scoring mileage. I wasn't sure if there were any powertrain changes for 2020 but was figuring not and wasn't seeing anything on it but everything is about the gawdy new sport appearance package.

Currently have a 2018 subruban premier with an EPA of 16 / 23. I never achieve near that but was just curious how much worse I'd be getting with LX and the smaller tank. Not worried about the cost really, just considering all things since its a six figure vehicle.

I have consistently gotten 14mpg in my 2016....50/50 mix of local and highway driving. I don’t drive very aggressively in this vehicle though.
