Default Suspension mode ****/crawl control ***** scratched

Hi all.

New LX owner here. I have a 2019 LX with 4,000 miles on it and I have noticed that the suspension control **** and the crawl control ***** are getting lots of light scratches on the top. I looked at some other LXs at the dealer and they all had scratches on those ***** as well.

Has anyone had any luck with Lexus replacing those ***** under warranty or have any ideas on fixing the current ones in the car?

Thanks!

I'd suspect it might be similar to scratches on the outside of the truck...wear and tear are normally not covered under warranty. Best I can think of is to see if dealer can order new ***** and go from there.

I believe this is more of a issue with the finish on the *****. Every LX at the dealer had fine scratches on those two *****. Even new LX's with 10 miles on them. Seems like a design flaw to me.

Same issue here, I bought a 19 cooperate Demo untitled so it was actually sold as a new vehicle just with a big discount. It had 7K on it and the ***** were scratched up. I asked them to replace them and they said they would have to replace the entire console, which they did not do because of the work involved. Yes design flaw that Lexus should take care of some way.

Having to replace the entire console is, simply, male bovine excrement. I'd call Lexus corporate and open a case. I'd also be looking for another dealer.

Not 100% sure but I do know it was about $1300 for parts and labor so I'm sure it was more than just the *****.

Does anyone have the part number for the 2 plastic caps that go on top of the ***** for the suspension control? 2016 Lexus LX570 I have looked everywhere on the Lexus website trying to find this cosmetic part.
