I must say I am not familiar with the issue described. Let me dive into it a bit before replying to you. Meanwhile if you can wait, wait.

I'm no rush to get this issue fixed since it's not really a big deal, just a bit annoying you know. I'm really appreciated you taking your time and effort to help me get it fixed, thank you!

Do you or does your dad have any handy friend with a complete tool kit. I can help you identify the parts. You just need to borrow a repair manual and buy him enough beers. This is why I wrote the other post, trying to help 4x4 enthusiast to enjoy the wonderful LX570 at less than half the price.

Hi there,
Just reading your post. I too am having the same problem. I AM handy and will order the parts you've suggested.
That said, do you have / Do you know of, or Where I could retrieve a quick tutorial or diagram on this? any type of picture?
I'm dealing with the same set up. 2008 & both mirror and housing move... all the way into the completely folded position while rolling 75mph on the freeway..... Definite safety hazard. Some sort of Ghost Protocol Code in the system. Its scary.

thanks
