Hello there. Unless I'm missing something (entirely possible), I'm unable to connect a newish ipad or mini (lightning connector) to the RCA in the back so I can show movies on the screen. Would anyone have a good way of doing this? It's a 2014 LX 570. I was able to get my old ipad (30 pin connector) to work no problem, but I can't find anything that would work with a newer ipad.

I tried a lightning to HDMI connected to an HDMI RCA connector. No dice!

Any help? My kids would also be very thankful!

when lightning connector first came out on iphone they used to include the lightning to 30 pin adapter. have you tried one of those? eg http://a.co/eODOicI
