Default Trailer wiring fuse?

Does anyone know the location of the fuse for the trailer wiring harness? I had to install the harness myself since my truck didn't come with it already installed. After hooking everything up, I have no power running to the harness, so I'm guessing I need to add a fuse to one of the panels but the manual is no help in locating which fuse or even which panel it might be in.

You'll need to add more than 1 fuse, as iirc each line is individually fused.

I have a '13 Electric Wiring Diagram shop manual. Nothing we can do here at this point without your model year.

Did you find and use the oem receptacle for your brake controller?

Sorry - it's an '09. Yes - already installed a Hopkins oem wiring adapter that hooked right in to the factory lines that were back near the hitch (that supposedly the port should have installed). Just don't have any power to them. And this setup doesn't have a brake controller - I have surge brakes on the trailer. Just a simple 7pin round and 4pin flat hookup.

Thanks again for any info hankinid!

This may help... https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/tra...#post-10971369

Towing fuses in the underhood fuse box include any that are identified as "tow". The SUB BATT fuse goes to the +12 volt pin of the trailer if you're running power to a battery on the trailer. There are also fuses in the driver and passenger side fuse boxes.
